Day Dos

Dear Healthy Food,

I am writing to let you know that, even if you do not mean to do so, you are breaking my bank. If you would kindly cut your costs so that I can afford to eat healthy, it would be a big help in reaching my goal of becoming healthy and fabulous. Thank you for your consideration.

So today, I shopped. I am actually quite wonderful at this. I do know what I am supposed to eat, its just eating it that usually is the problem. I spent 50 dollars, and I sort of got a lot of things, but, I don’t know. Hopefully it will be decieving, and will go a long way. I got fabulous things like :

  • apples of different varietys
  • butternut squash
  • turn-ups
  • chicken breast
  • deli sliced turkey and chicken
  • whole wheat bread
  • kashi oatmeal
  • some of that weird greek yogurt stuff
  • bananas (my fav!)

Plus other fancy stuff that I just cannot remember right now. I did well, I hope it lasts me at least a week. It felt bad to spend so much money when I am poor this week, BUT, when I saw the lady in line behind me with like 20 sodas, ice cream, chips, etc etc, I felt really good about how healthy my part of the conveyer belt looked. (Hahaha.)

As for eating today, I was a pro. But no exercise yet. That will have to start tomorrow.
