I have not been writing much, and probably won’t for a while. I suddenly find myself unemployed for no reason, and eventhough I feel like I have been eating much worse than I was, I seem to have lost 5 lbs. It might be the stress.
But I wish you all good luck until I am around more!
Sick
I have been feeling pretty blah the last few days, so I have been eating so much less cause I just dont FEEEEL like eating. Today I just don’t feel like I could keep anything down, but I forced some healthy stuff in.
Nothing like being sick to jumpstart weight loss. Hahaha.
Y to the OGA
I’m gonna go to yoga in a few minutes w/ a good friend of mine. But before you think I’m being all lazy, I should tell you that it’s vinyasa yoga. I don’t know a lot about what makes vinyasa yoga different from other yoga, but what I do know is that I sweat like a beast whenever I go. I didn’t want to run two days in a row b/c I don’t want to burn myself out, especially since I haven’t exactly been having the most nutritious fuel-y meals. But, mark my words, I am running tomorrow. There, I said it. For all of Tumblr to read. Tomorrow I will run and I will post my route. Omg, now I’m scared, lol.
YOGA is amazing for your body, and you can burn so many calories. I used to do a free class when I lived in New York City at Yoga to The People, and I will tell you what, it kicked my butt, and I sweat so badly. So you will feel great afterwards!
new beginning of my new beginning
So, today started well. Eventhough I went to bed late-ish (1:30 am) I was still able to wake up by 8. I hopped into my sneakers and TWO jackets, because it was 20 degrees outside, with frost, (Grrr), grabbed my spastic boston terrier, and went off for a hike!
So far I have eaten:
A banana with peanut butter, pre-hike
Two poached eggs on one piece of whole wheat and flax toast
A cup of greeeeeen grapes
One day back on the wagon, hopefully I can keep on it!
Rochester’s Weight Loss Challenge
So, I found out my city is doing this weight loss challange. There are prizes and everything at the end of 12 weeks! It is only 35 dollars, and you can take unlimited classes per week, have unlimited group personal training, and go to any of four different gyms. Seems like a pretty sweet deal to me. I think I am going to do it! Free nutrition advice, and weekly weigh ins. Super awesome prizes like spa getaway, might just be enough to motivate me.
The only downside is the gyms are kind of a drive when I want to do the really early morning classes, but I think it will be worth it.
rough week
I have been having a rough week for eating, and didn’t weigh myself. I didn’t want to look! Now its that time of the month, but I think it’ll help me to exercise to not feel so fat and bloatey. I will weigh myself at the end of the week.
I feel so busy right now too, that I can’t write as much.

Hello 7am, nice to meet you.
It has been a LONG time since I got up at 7am because I WANTED to. Haha, but its nice.
My goals for this week are to:
- make it to bed by 11 everyday except for of course friday and saturday, since I work that late.
- wake up everyday by 7:30 at the latest, except for saturday and sunday.
- see 184 on the scale by Sunday!
I just went for a run/walk (mostly walk, who am I kidding?) and now its time to get shredded! Hahaha
